JIRAM collects information in infrared, and the colours on this composite signify radiant warmth: the yellow (thinner) clouds are about 9 levels Fahrenheit (-13° Celsius) in brightness temperature and the darkish crimson (thickest) are round -181 levels Fahrenheit (-118.33° Celsius).
