Floor groups at Mission Management in Moscow proceed to evaluate a coolant leak detected from the aft finish of the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft docked to the Worldwide House Station. Because of this, the deliberate Dec.14 Roscosmos spacewalk was canceled to permit time to guage the fluid and potential impacts to the integrity of the Soyuz spacecraft.
NASA and Roscosmos will proceed to work collectively to find out the following plan of action following the continuing evaluation. The crew members aboard the area station are protected, and weren’t in any hazard through the leak.
The Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft carried NASA astronaut Frank Rubio and Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Prokopyev and Dmitri Petelin into area after launching from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Sept. 21.
